Hosts were awesome and the food amazing. Needs updating and Christmas decorations were up in summer. If you don't like seeing taxidermy, this is not the place for you. Very beautiful and secluded surroundings.

The house is so well decorated and maintained. Super cozy and relaxing environment. Way better than a regular hotel if you are looking for something a little more special.

This wonderful B&B sits on 50 acres of classic Northern Michigan woodlands convenient to both Boyne City and Charlevoix. The rooms are extremely comfortable and well decorated in outdoor themes and the breakfast each day exceeded expectations. What a great place!

Mother’s Day present

Got for a Mother’s Day present for my wife and two other moms so they could have a night without kids. They loved the place said it was pretty and neat with great setting and hosts-current hosts just sold it though right after their stay. Close to Boyne city which has a couple great restaurants and does a fantastic job with community events and is an awesome little town. Should check this place out

Horton Creek is a place to disconnect from the outside world and relax in nature. The proprietors are a very lovely couple that want to meet your every need. Unfortunately, they will be retiring in a few months and it will no longer be open to the public. It will be a loss to the area and those who who are regular visitors.

A little piece of heaven

My husband and i have been to several B&Bs but The Horton Creek B&B was by far the best experience we have had. Not only were Dave and Jeannie great host, but they made you feel right at home. The breakfast was delicious and seconds were offered, the views were spectacular, the bed was comfortable and the Deer room was charming. Jeannie put dessert out in the evening and while my husband and i were at dinner our host placed a snack in our room with ice cold water and soft music playing. The B&B was by far the most beautiful B&B we have ever stayed at. We will definitely be back.

The house and surrounding grounds are incredible. I love the wooded setting-very quiet and relaxing. The hosts could not have been more accommodating, and the breakfasts were delicious. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Everything about our stay was warm, comfortable and welcoming. We love the "up north" decor and the extensive gardens and yard. The location was remote and quiet, but had good proximity to many local sites. We were greeted warmly and our hosts gave us great advice on what we wanted to see. The beds were comfortable and the property was immalculate - we will go again.

Our family has stayed at a lot of log cabin properties over the years and this one by far is the most well-appointed property ever. The hosts were most accommodating and there are so many things to do near by for adults and children.

The door to shower was particularly skinny, but the jet tub was amazing. The site was beautiful and set back in the woods. Breakfast was great, fresh, well prepared, and seconds were offered.

Relax with Gracious Service in a Lovely Setting

We completely enjoyed our stay at Horton Creek Inn. It was lovely inside and out! Breakfast was delicious both mornings. Jeannie and Dave are thoughtful and friendly hosts and their attention to detail and to our needs was first rate. We will return for another stay when we can!
