"First of all I booked the royal hotel through Expedia, after booked I called the royal hotel through the number given by Expedia but I was shocked after speaking with the receptionist, he told to cancel the booking, we are not accepting the booking online."
"The hotel is dated. The rooms are in desperate need of refurbishment. We had booked an extra bed and was not provided a pillow. The bathroom was not clean. We were meant to stay for two nights and checked out after the first night. The breakfast is substandard. The hotel seems short staffed—when we checked out it was the bellhop that did the processing of the paperwork and not the reception staff and this was around 9am.
According to their ‘proforma invoice’ we are owed a refund of Rs. 5407 which they still haven’t done.

"Clean room, helpful staff, good omelete breakfasts. Channel selection on cable was bad. I couldn't find a cricket channel. As a matter of fact, most channels don't get any signal. Gret valley view in the morning. Close to Coakers walk and the Lake."
"I stayed in a comfortable and spacious Deluxe Room, with a peaceful and pleasant ambience that was perfect for relaxing both mind and body.
The staff at the front desk and in the restaurant were exceptionally friendly, courteous, and attentive, making the experience even more pleasant.
I had opted for the AP plan (All meals included – Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner) and the food was absolutely outstanding. Every meal was rich in flavour, generously portioned, beautifully prepared, and thoughtfully served, making dining a real highlight of the stay.
The lavatory was relatively very small, and room cleanliness has to be improved.
Other than this, the overall stay was truly excellent.

"Hotel is excellent, views are spectacular and staff are wonderful people. They go above and beyond. I've deducted 1 star because the hotel rooms are not wind-tight and have no permanent heating, despite being in a cold location. Hotel owners, please fix this!"
