"We booked this as a 1 night transit stop. Nice hotel but the check in was odd. We turned up at the hotel. No reception and no way of entering. Found a poster on the wall that instructed us to walk to the Lion apartments, 10 minutes back the way we had come, with our bags. We had to check in there then walk back to the hotel. If it hadnt been for this palaver late in the day our rating would have been higher. Please post this on your booking confirmation to save other guests the hassle."

"We have stayed here several times and appreciate it for its pleasant atmosphere and very handy location. It also has a well-kept communal kitchen, which was very convenient for a couple of breakfasts. The rooms are spacious and the the option to have housekeeping on request is a smart idea. The bathroom was a little cramped, with the only hook broken. The design is faulty so that the shower flows under the shower screen, drenching the bath mat, which wasn’t so good for the second person to use...
