"It is my second stay at Galavilla. I love this place so much. I was happy that the hotel is well developt. I feel as a home. The morning view form the room is realy breathtaking. The hotel is open around 5 years but still everythings is as new.I never see it in another hotels in Sri Lanka. I can recomend everyone who like nature and relax."

"Sehr schönes Hotel in einer alten Teefabrik. Herausragend war die Freundlichkeit des Personals. Das Essen war herrvorragend und die Zimmer sehr sauber. Wir bekamen eine Führung in der Teefabrik wo uns der Teeprozess erklärt und gezeigt wurde. Auch eine Wanderung wurde angeboten. Alles in allem nur zu empfehlen!! Bei der Hinfahrt ist es besser nach dem Weg zu fragen. Google maps führt woanders hin. "

"The property and staff were all amazing. The breakfast and dinner was good. Getting a ride via pick me can take some time as not all drivers want to come up the hill. Make sure you a lot enough time for travel. We were going to be late for our train because a PickMe driver canceled. But the hotel made some calls and arranged for a quick Tuk Tuk ride and we made it right in time. "

"This place is truly a hidden gem, and the staff is absolutely incredible! It should be on everyone’s list when visiting Sri Lanka. "Very special place 30 or so minutes outside of Kandy, near Wattegama. A few individual cabin-esque rooms (with en-suite) around a cute courtyard of natural spring pool, pond, hammocks etc. Very attentative hosts who really demonstrate Sri Lankan hospitality at its best. The walk around the spice garden and local village was so interesting. Such a unique bonus to make this more of an experience than just a bed for the night.
