Lovely place to stay. Clean, tidy and perfect location. Just wish we had been told they were no longer providing breakfast, as when we booked breakfast was included and that is why we pick certain places.
We had a wonderful stay with a beautiful room. The breakfasts were delicious and we were made so welcome. The Stanley is right across the road from the promenade/beach and convenient to town. Would stay here again!
A nicely decorated room (4) with sea view handy for the Scillonian Ferry. Easy check-in and check-out with a nice cooked breakfast which we ordered the night before.

Simply furnished and clean. Good view from the bedroom window
We have stayed at the Stanley numerius timed. The owner is lovely and nothing too much trouble for her especially if you are staying over to catch an early boat or returning late from one. The rooms are pretty, comfortable and the breakfast delicious. Will be booking for next year.

Kate greeted us in a very friendly, professional & informative manner. She went above & beyond with the little touches. Hotel was lovely & comfortable with all amenities provided. Breakfast absolutely delicious & served by Kate who was the most amazing hostess. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Really nice simple hotel, very convenient for the IOS ferry which is just around the corner. The staff were really nice, the room was cosy but comfortable and the breakfast was nice with a beautiful view. Parking is in short supply.
Excellent location right on the seafront and within easy reach of local restaurants and the town centre. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was excellent with wide choice of foods on offer. Parking on the seafront was easy but there is also a pay and display car park nearby. When next in Penzance will stay here again.

Quirky room that was clean but awkward to use. I couldn't stand up straight to shave!
Sloping ceiling over bed.
Expensive for one night without breakfast.

Friendly place with an excellent breakfast. Very narrow, twisty stairs to top floor meant it was almost impossible to navigate with my carry-on suitcase. Not for older people who cannot manhandle their luggage! Lovely location right on the promenade.
Overall good value.
The breakfast was amazing, I had a full English and a friend had fresh fruit and croissant, either is enough to last the whole day and happily served in time for us to catch the ferry to the Scilly Isles.
We found our attic room very tiny with a bed so small neither of us slept well at all, definitely a room to avoid.
The owner was very cheery and welcoming.
In the end a nice stay, but only because another room was available. We'd booked a "comfort double room with sea view" but it was a tiny attic and unsuitable for even a 5ft 8 and 5ft 7 couple. Should be advertised as an attic room.
Paid for a suite but just had a basic room with a double and single bed in the room so unable to work as I assumed a suite had a desk and sofa normally in a separate room or partition. If you’re on holiday this might be an ok place to stay but no good for working visit.
Great location near the water and a fifteen minute walk to town center, train and bus station. However, we were put in a a very small room that was not at all what was pictured from what was posted on Expedia website. Our room was in an attic (only window was an attic window ) and we had to climb several flights of narrow stairs to get up there. Anyone with a walking mobility or a lot of luggage would not be able to get up there. The beds were comfortable and there was enough hot water for hot showers. This lodging includes a full English breakfast in the dining room with a view of water which was nice. Staying here for one or two nights is fine as long as you plan to spend very little time in the room.
