"My partner and I booked this property however when we arrived at 7pm, there was a large gate blocking the entrance and no one was there. We tried and tried to call and message the property and never received a response. La Fortuna is somewhat out in the country without many on the spot lodging options. "We loved our stay at Nayari Villas! The villa was beautiful, even better than the pictures. The kids had a lot of fun in the pool. We had a beautiful view of the Arenal volcano. After a couple of days of travelling, I was happy to be able to do some laundry. The rooms were nice and we enjoyed the extra blankets since we like sleeping with heavy blankets. The villa is located in a very quiet area, offering complete privacy—you don’t notice the neighbors at all. "Wonderful cosy cottage deep in Monteverde. The drive from St Elena is worth it! There are lots of bugs at night but it is manageable. So many birds! So serene! Comfy beds. Yummy welcome food. Carlos was super kind and attentive, and took care of our needs (extra chair, longer clothing line for hanging our clothes). "

"Beautiful property, drinks from the bar amazing, pools were clean and gorgeous views. We enjoyed the privacy of the room and our jacuzzi bath on our patio. Rooms were very clean, food at the restaurants were reasonably priced and great quality. Breakfast is buffet style and they change up the main dishes. "
