"The property itself is beautiful and well maintained. I really enjoyed the trails and bird watching tower. Everyone on staff was amazing as well. Reception was so helpful in planning my itinerary and arranging transportation. The on site tour guides were knowledgeable and passionate about their work. "Absolutely loved our stay here. A once in a lifetime place to visit. My kids were amazed as it literally looks like you are driving into Jurassic park. Our room was beautiful with a full open view of the volcano and just gle. We woke up to monkeys in the trees, saw probably 100 species of different rainforest moths. Clean and comfortable room. My only issue was that we had several venomous wandering spiders in our hotel room which was quite scary with 2 young children with us. I...

"Rancho Cerro Azul was everything one could ask for in a serene, restful, retreat. The location was perfectly peaceful and quiet with a less than five minute ride into La Fortuna. The grounds and rooms were very well maintained and extremely clean. The air conditioning was a nice break when it was humid and the hot tub was a perfect way to end each day."
