"The hotel was in a good location, the staff was friendly and they had a good breakfast. However the breakfast room was full of mosquitoes and the entire floor we stayed in smelled strongly like cigarettes even though it’s non-smoking and my wife had trouble sleeping due to the noise outside."

"Hotel was very nice, great buffet breakfast. It is not in the popular San Marco area but in a quieter area. Still convenient to walk or take public water bus to other areas, if needed. Hotel staff is very friendly & lots of local restaurants in area close to hotel. Highly recommend!!"

"Great stay. From the baggage storage from an early arrival, to checkout, it was a wonderful experience. The room was bigger than expected. The room darkening shades and comfortable bed made for a few nights of good sleep. The bartender Bane makes a tasty spritz. He helped us choose a place for dinner for our 25th wedding anniversary. Bane even called and made a reservation for us. The table was right on the canal and his recommendation did not disappoint. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Venice in the future."

"Location is perfect! Its ONE bridge to the bus station. That is unheard of in Venice! Especially with having to carry luggage this is sooo important! Its a tiny hotel that uses amenities from their sister hotel which is only a short little walk away. I got the deluxe room with two terraces and it has a perfect view of the canal. We spent so much time watching the boats and people from the terrace. It has really low ceilings and beams so a really tall person would struggle. Lucky for me I am short so it was perfect!"

"Great stay at Pensione Guerrato. I stayed here once about 15 years ago & was happy to come back. Nice, large, cool, quiet & relaxing room to come back to after some hot & chaotic sightseeing. Great, quiet location tucked behind Rialto. Centrally located to walk everywhere. I hope to be back again someday :-)"
