Ema, at reception took great care in making sure, that our stay extended our expectations. I recommend every one to go to Splits. Food was amazing, people are so nice and this place we stayed at was exceptional. I would give it 15/10"

"We really enjoyed our time here. We coordinated with the host to let them know our arrival time, and even though we arrived a little later than planned they were still there waiting at the reception desk to show us around our apartment. The host who greeted us was so friendly and helpful in providing suggestions about the local area and cuisine. It was so nice to have such a warm welcome after 16 exhausting hours of travel. "The apartment was clean and extremely well-equipped. The staff members were friendly, polite and exceptionally helpful. The breakfasts were excellent - varied, attractively-presented and featuring an impressive range of local produce. Shops were nearby, and within two hundred metres we could walk to Diocletian's Palace, the waterfront and two markets,as well as to the ferry port and bus station."

"MK is fantastic. Owner is very nice and accommodating. Extremely helpful. Place is perfect to explore Old City. Take advantage of the taxi service provided in order to aboid getting lost in the winding alleys that make up the Old City. Its unlike anything youve seen in a good way. Place is loaded with history character and beauty. "

"Maria prepared great breakfast, especially the 2nd day, when she learned what we liked. She already had everything to our taste. Don't be shy to ask to prepare what you like, because it is not a large hotel with huge buffet, and your breakfast hot dishes are made to order. In addition, their anytime coffee, tea, and a large selection of alcoholic drinks was a great unexpected perk/gem. Of course, we didn't abuse that privilege but tried a couple of their Croatian liquors with our coffee. "
