"The room was large and mostly clean. However, the bathtub was horrendous. Very ditry. Hair in it. The TV did not work. And the freezer in the mini fridge was a waste. Put ice cream in it for two hours. Came out as a milk shake."

"We walked in to a room so thick with the smell of mold you could chew on it. Dead Cockroaches all over the floor. Large dead spider in the shower. With webbing all over the curtains that had these weird red mite looking things. Cobwebs all around the head of bed and night stand. We stayed less than 10 minutes and fighting for a refund. Honestly needs to be reviewed by the department of health."

"The staff is super kind and as helpful as they can be. The problem doesn't lie with the staff, it lies with corporate or whomever controls the purse strings. The rooms have well exceeded their sell by date. The carpets are so worn out and, in some places, sticky - yes sticky!. The curtains are stained from years of humidity and rarely do they close completely. I thought my stay recently may have been a one off and came back again the next week. It was not a one off! "We had a wonderful stay at the Duff Green! The antiques are beautiful, the pool is lovely and the staff are so welcoming! Miss Laurie hosted a wine happy hour and told us ghost stories and history of the house. Breakfast was very tasty. My husband was hesitant about staying at a B&B but he loved it! I highly recommend!"

"Lots of roaches. Door didn't lock all the way, stains on pillows, small fridge was falling off the shelf, toilet wasn't secured to the floor, bathtub/shower was nasty, caulking had mold in it. Floors were not clean, floors were sticky, A/C couldn't be adjusted. Staff at the front looked annoyed that I was even checking in."

"We booked a river view room (online says stairs, but it’s 3 flights of stairs) but when we went in the room it was 80 degrees inside. Asked at the front desk & they said that’s was normal but they could move us. They moved us to Uncle Henry’s room, nice but smaller (not close to what we paid for…queen bed instead of king, not a suite, no whirlpool tub) but it was 71 degrees.
