"Don’t know where to start , fantastic and easily the nicest accommodation of any we stayed at in France. The owner hosts are very nice and have done an amazing job with this property. Five rooms in total avaiable for guests , it never felt crowded or uncomfortable. Beautiful gardens and pool to relax and enjoy close proximity to restaurants and a five min walk to the famous Libourne Market. Parking out front free on weekends 5.00 euro on other days . "L'établissement est retiré dans la campagne et les bois, tranquillité absolue. Les 5 chambres et un gîte sont situés dans un parc avec la maison du propriétaire. Patronne très accueillante. Petit-déjeuner simple, mais de bons produits. Grande piscine agreable et propre, en plein air. Chambre (la nôtre était une suite) avec beaucoup de place, meublée avec goût, à l'ancienne. "

"The host is just so helpful and cheerful, the room is super clean and the attention of detail from the host makes the stay so much enjoyable. Unfortunely for me, my room was the one on the main road and I am a light sleeper, so sleep was not the best experience so agreed with host to reserve a room at the back of the Mas for my next stay. "

" Merveilleuse rencontre avec Marie et ses animaux ! La propriété est magnifique et extrêmement reposante. Marie est au petit soin avec ses hôtes, mais rien est forcé, on sent la bienveillance naturelle.. on est repartis avec des figues fraîches (cueillies par Marie) et le ventre bien rempli d’un somptueux petit déjeuner ! "Domaine de Grande Fort is a beautiful place to stay. Situated near Bergerac and overlooking the River Dordogne, our hosts Isabelle and Stephane made us very welcome. We had an excellent dinner and a fine breakfast the next morning. As we sat eating our meals outdoors looking down to the river and across to the beautiful gardens we were sorry that we were just staying for one night. We will return to this peaceful place."

"Tout a été parfait avec nos charmants hôtes. Malheureusement, c'est avec Expedia que j'ai des doléances. L'appartement qui devait nous être alloué n'était pas disponible dû à des rénovations. Expedia ne nous en a pas informé. Heureusement, nous avons pu joindre les hôtes qui nous ont dépanné avec un autre appartement. "

"I had such a lovely stay!!! So beautiful and peaceful it felt like a little oasis. Not a ton to do or eat around but plenty of vineyards!!! The hotel itself could not have been better."
