"Chino Valley Az is a small one main Street town. Fortunately this site is minutes from my extended family's home. Easy access right off the main road. We stay here every time we come to visit. Always clean and great food."

"THE GOOD: Quiet and set back from the main road, mature trees and lovely flower beds, nice communal areas (a piano player was there Sunday), great hot breakfast, friendly staff, terrific pool area, walking distance to some restaurants. THE BAD: Bathroom fan cover was coated with dust; some bed pillows were quite old (one had a few blood spots!) and need to be tossed, lobby upstairs carpet is stained. "Toe nail clippings and tons of random black hairs inside all the bedding and towels. No staff available. Changed room last minute. Lack of outlets for charging/utilizing electricity. Tiny towels. Good parking & Close to historic district."

"We loved our stay at this hotel! The bed was the most comfortable one we’ve had at a hotel. The room was spacious and very clean. The grounds were beautiful with a nice patio area outside where we ate breakfast. Breakfast was great, and there was even homemade banana cake. A favorite of ours was the coffee machine open 24/7 that made coffees, cappuccino, etc."

"The lobby has a 66 vibe to it and is very welcoming. Marcia greeted us and was very friendly during each of our interactions with her. Our room was clean and comfortable. Wish we could have visited the museum but time didn’t allow. Plenty of parking too. Would stay again."

"The location of the Tavern Hotel in Old Town Cottonwood is wonderful! Lots of restaurants and shops to visit within walking distance of the hotel. Our room was beautiful, nicely appointed, and clean! We loved the huge fire pit and chairs outside the lobby, to sit and sip a glass of wine after a dip in the pool. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. We'll definitely stay there again. Thank you!!"

"The property and employees are exceptional. It's been forever since we stayed at such a lovely place. Kim, in particular, was a pleasure to deal with at dinner outside on the patio. The park and trees that edge the property created such a haven away from the AZ summer heat. Ted at the front desk, was helpful with all the details, and because this was our first stay, that was beyond helpful. We are already planning another trip back.
