"I had a fantastic stay at La Casa Juan Ranas. It was mid October so the weather was still warm and the local area was vibrant. The view from my suite’s terrace, was truly breathtaking - the best view of Alhambra! It was memorable having breakfast on my terrace and seeing the whole of Granada sprawling beneath the palace. "Great location near foot of Alhambra in a quiet side street. Beautiful old building, nicely restored. Charming room. Breakfast not included and from other reviews it didn’t sound worth paying €15 for so we went out. The only reason I marked it down was the sound of an upstairs room’s bathroom water loudly rushing down the pipes through our bathroom which woke me up a few times."

"clean room, great AC, amazing location for walking, parking was convenient but also a bit scary to get to (legally driving on pedestrian roads is spooky, but they do clearly note and direct you on it so that’s good), if you are planning on taking your car in and out during your stay, maybe seek outside parking. beautiful place with very kind staff, will 100% book again if i’m ever in the area!"

"Very spacious and comfortable apartment in an amazing location just a few steps from the best viewpoint in town, and a few minutes down the hill into the centre. Great to have a private car park and the reception staff were super nice and helpful. We were a little sad to find out that the pool was only available for the penthouse, but very much enjoyed our stay."

"It was a bit challenging checking in because we arrived early. The office is several blocks away and doesn’t open until 10. We were able to drop our bags at the office and wonder the city until checking in. The room was awesome, very clean and modern, quiet and secure. The laundry on site was an added bonus. "The hotel was great. Free bottled water, candy on your pillow. Spacious room, good A/C. Even though it was located directly across the street from the cathedral you couldn’t hear the bells in your room. Staff were so helpful and attentive and kind. The beds were typical European beds, so a little firmer than I like but that is my only thing and I still slept well."

"This place is really about the view to the Alhambra which was superb! The room was big. The bed was “okay”, but the fitted sheet didn’t fit very well and in the middle of the night they kept coming off… we had to get up and try to put them back on. The proprietor gave us very good directions on where to be dropped off by the taxi. It is a walk down stairs so definitely be sure to bring luggage that can be rolled along a rocky/aggregate terrain.
