"Le sejour s'est très bien passé, le personnel est serviable et souriant. J'ai choisi volontairement cet hotel pour ne pas avoir de bruit de la circulation ou des bars, résultat obtenu sans problème. Il est bien sûr excentré du centre, mais avec grab, bus voir à pied, c'est possible sans problème. La chambre et salle de bain sont spacieuses, confortables et bien equipés. Le petit déjeuner est copieux."

"ホテルは周辺にレストランなどが多く、立地はとても便利だと思います。ノイバイ空港からはGrabタクシーでおよそ50分弱、料金は日本円で約2,500円でした。ホテルは大通りに面していないため、窓を閉めれば室内はかなり静かです。スタッフの方々も非常に親切で、英語と日本語の両方で対応してくださるので、わからないことがあっても安心して相談できます。今回は滞在中、屋上の露天風呂を利用する時間が取れなかったのが残念でしたが、次回宿泊する際にはぜひ利用してみたいと思っています。 "

"This was a great place to stay. Staff were lovely and work very hard. The whole place was immaculate and housekeeping do an amazing job. If there is any room for improvement i would suggest a roof garden or pool along with information about the area would have been a great addition to the experience."

"A lovely stay for 3 nights… the pool was refreshing given the heat and the aircon in the room was also much appreciated. Breakfast was tasty and the front desk were super helpful given our early arrival and to arrange taxis. We also used the free shuttle into the Old Quarter. "

This apartment was within easy walking distance of everything a tourist might want to see yet far enough away to feel like you were living like a local. "If you want a luxurious place to stay in Hanoi, The Sofitel Metropole Hotel should be at the top of your list. Built in 1901, it retains echoes of the French colonial era. The service was excellent throughout; from the reception to the breakfast area, and our favourite, the pool bar! Our room was very clean, comfortable and spacious, with a smart TV that allowed us to connect to various services such as Netflix and You Tube. "Grace, one of the front desk staff, were exceptionally amazing all throughout. She welcomed us with a warm smile and ensured everything's in order and my family's comfortable all throughout. I was also comminicating with Grace weeks/months before our arrival for tourist spots and packages available and all of my questions were answered with warmth and genuine care. It was really nice to finally see her when we arrived. She's a great asset in the hotel, and her presence put my family at ease. All the tours she has arranged for us were all amazing! Shopping, souvenir shops, michelin guide restaurants, and Old Quarter landmarks like the hoan kiem lake, and puppet show, were conveniently located near the hotel and within 5-10 minutes walk depending on your phase. Room is not too spacious but really comfortable. They have universal plugs in their room, so travel adaptors are not really a necessity. They always keep the room clean and tidy. Spa/massage is open till late and willing to accommodate you despite the time. On our last day, since we left early, they have also prepared packed breakfast for us to eat during our travel. For the complimentary breakfast, they offer beef, chicken, and vegetable Phở in addition to the buffet set up meals. You have to order it in the counter together with your preferred eggs however, they don't take note of the orders."

"Sophisticated yet cozy. Service was top notch. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Great central bustling location but quiet and peaceful inside the hotel. An example of the great service: I was not feeling well from a stomach bug I caught at a previous hotel; the manager noticed I wasn't eating much at breakfast and I told her the sickness was the reason. She took it upon herself to make me ginger and honey tea as well as to provide me the ingredients to-go so I could make more later. The tea really helped."
