"This property appears to have been furnished and decorated 6-7 years ago. It was nicely done but starting to show its age. Our room had hardwood floors that were void of their finish in many areas due to either a water leak from the refrigerator or just from hard use. The rug in our room had a very large stain on it. We were comfortable and the hotel was quiet. For travelers used to a larger room, this isn't it. There were few places to really unpack. The bathroom was great and had double sinks. There is a walk in shower with a rain head and hand held. Neither put out much water but it was sufficient. Afterward, the rain shower drips for what seems like hours and the faucet takes some fiddling around with to figure out how it operates. There was a hairdryer and an Iron in the room. Power outlets and USB ports on nightstands were a plus and the internet worked great. The bed was comfortable but we felt that the down comforter was too hot so we cranked the A/C down to compensate. We had a fridge and a safe. Maid service was great. Overall, we enjoyed staying here."

"Stayed for a single night prior to a cruise. Good location to the Princess Dock. Took a Rideshare, but could have walked if I were younger. Staff was helpful. Room was clean and quiet. No inhouse restaurant, but adjacent cafe for breakfast. Restaurants were plentiful."

"Enjoyed our stay. The room was large and clean. We had two children under age of three; they provided us with cribs and high chairs. The access to Stanley Park and to English Bay Beach area was in walking distance - we loved the access. Easy to get Granville Island and easy access to grocery stores, coffee shops, etc. The only downside was that we had to carry stroller and kids up and down the outside stairs; however, that would not stop us from returning. We really enjoyed our stay and we would recommend."

"What's not to love? It's a lovely facility, UBC campus is beautiful, and it's very peaceful. The rooms are spartan (they're dorms), but they randomly had the *most* amazing towels I've ever had at a hotel, and I've stayed at many top-end hotels (picture bath sheets two inches thick). Toiletries are mid, bring your own shampoo & conditioner unless you are ok with 2 in 1. Breakfast is a bit hit and miss (terrible coffee and eggs, pretty good pancakes & bacon). If you're planning on being in your room just to sleep, it's perfect."
