"The cabin was super clean and ready for us. They have everything you need: toiletries, robes for the hot tub, chopped wood for the wood stove, stocked kitchen, movies, games, books. "This was my second stay at Chancellor Peak. We stayed in chalet #14 which is private with an amazing view of the Peak and the surrounding nature. The chalet complex is located right at the Kootenay River. The area is very quiet and there are bears as well. A black bear came looking for food around the chalets a couple of nights. Overall a great place to stay and good value."

"Unser Aufenthalt war gut im Hotel Winston. Wenn man aber seine Ruhe haben will, ist man hier falsch. Wenn die Gäste im gemeinsamen Wohmraum sind, dann wird es sehr laut im Zimmer. "It’s good for the price. It was clean, comfortable, and I appreciated having different heat controls in each room! However there is a dehumidifier in the main room, which runs all the time. We stayed for a week so we would shut it off at night so we could sleep and leave it on during the day. We had to empty it a couple times and it was full! The property is old, but has been refreshed with new paint, flooring, etc. which explains the dehumidifier. We didn’t have anything to scour dishes with,...

"property manager said we had old rental agreement from Expedia & thus check in was 5pm instead of 4pm. also check out was now 10am instead of 11am. When traveling with young children, that was really annoying and inconvenient. Upon being pushed, they did agree to early check in without penalty, but wouldn't budge on check out. Also, for 1st time in any place, I stayed, they wanted you to run dishwasher and then empty & put dishes away. With 10am leave, it meant having to hand clean up breakfast...
