This hotel is a grand old manor house. The rooms are large and the furnishings are antiques. The staff is great, the breakfast nice and it was a very pleasant experience.

Best in Pärnu

Very fascinating architecture, friendly and helpful staff. Dinner top quality with nice wines, same with breakfast which even included sparkling wine. Free parking.

Great building, refinements to service required

Great hotel with lovely waiting staff for dinner. Room very warm at night. Breakfast staff refused to let me have sausage & bacon on a different plate which was odd, and food wasn’t replenished during breakfast. Nobody asked if the stay was ok when checking out.

Lovely hotel

Lovely hotel with excellent location. The staff at the reception were lovely and accommodating but unfortunately the restaurant staff didn't show the same hospitality. Nevertheless an excellent place to stay when visiting Parnu.

prachtig a la carte ontbijt, zeer lekkere koffie, rustige mooie ontbijtruimte. Het bed is supercomfortabel. De verlichting in de kamer is ook goed, met een mooi groot bureau om te werken. Er staat een koffiemachine en een paar flesjes gratis water. De ontvangst is hartelijk en persoonlijk. Dit is duidelijk een hotel om vakantie in te genieten maar ook als zakenvrouw kan je er goed verblijven.

Päärakennus oli täynnä joten olimme sivurakennuksessa, jonka huone ei vastannut tasoltaan ennakkotietoa. Päärakennus ravintoloineen on hieno. Palvelu on ensiluokkaista, ja ruoka tasokasta. Aamupala ”parasta ikinä”. Voisimme jatkossakin majoittua Villa Ammendessa, mutta ottaisimme huoneen päärakennuksesta.

Vanhan ajan hieno hotelli

Hieno vanhan ajan hotelli jolle on varmasti oma kohderyhmänsä. Emme ehkä ystäväni kanssa olleet oikeaa kohderyhmää. Ravintolassa oli kommunikointi vaikeuksia tarjoilijan kanssa. Ystäväni on vegaani ja hänen oli vaikea löytää listalta jotain sopivaa syötävää. Meidän oli vaikea saada selville mitä tarkoittaa iso ja pieni lautanen. Ala carte listaa voisi päivittää selkeämmäksi ja sisältöön voisi lisätä helppoja nopeasti saatavia tarjottavia. Meille tarjottu juustolautanen sisälsi paljon aineksia joita emme voineet syödä : rasvaisia lihapaloja maksapateeta. Olisi helpottanut paljon jos olisimme voineet kommunikoida tarjoilijan kanssa kunnolla englanniksi. 5.n kerran kun tarjoilija haki vastauksia kysymyksiin salin ulkopuolelta luovutimme ja tilasimme vain jotain joka ei sitten vastannut odotuksiamme.

Hotelli on huikea.

Upea hotelli, jos kaipaa eleganssia ja pitää jugendista. Voi siirtyä 100 vuotta ajassa taaksepäin vaikkapa Agatha Christien kirjoihin. Koko Pärnu on kuitenkin kävelymatkan päässä, mutta itse Villa viihdyttää vaikka koko päivän. Aamiainen pesee Wienin kuuluisimmatkin aamiaiskahvilat. Tällaisia hotelleja ei enää valmisteta.

Parin viikon autolomareissun viimeinen yöpyminen, hyvin sujui. Lauantaina oli tarjolla teemaviikon illallinen, mutta se ei meitä innostanut, vaikka väkeä tuli kyllä runsaasti aterioimaan.
