"Nice hotel, clean and nice room, good area, close to many shops and restaurants, which is nice because the hotel restaurant is very expensive compared to the other restaurants in the area. We stayed for our honeymoon and they arranged a flower spread on our bed and also gave us cookies one day. Kind of disappointed breakfast was not included in our rate which was already pretty expensive, ended up going off property for this as well. Enjoyed the free kayak rentals and beautiful infinity pool."
"We had a very pleasant stay at Sunset Beach Residence in Moorea. The location is excellent — very convenient and right next to a beautiful lagoon. The property is peaceful and well-maintained, and we especially enjoyed the tennis court and the large outdoor terrace.
Our unit was well equipped with a washing machine, a dryer, and a fully functional kitchen, which made our stay very comfortable. The reception staff were friendly and helpful.
The only small downside is that coffee is not provided and needs to be purchased separately. Overall, it was a great stay and we would happily return in the future."
"Just one night here, I arrived early off the ferry at 10am and asked to store luggage, which was no problem and they were happy for me to use the pool and would do what they could to get me in my room asap. 10 mins later they said I could have the room! Very impressive. Nothing was too much trouble. Staff are super attentive.
Pool area was sublime, spotlessly clean. They had thought of everything with water dispensers, suntan lotion etc st the pool areas.
My bedroom was a delight and the bed sumptuous with super quality bedding. The view was lovely and everything was perfect.
I know people say it’s expensive to eat, but Tahiti is expensive all over. At least here the surroundings are lovely and my meal (proissans cru) was delicious. It was not a cheap night but the place I’d been staying in when in Moorea was terrible so this really cheered me up on my last night and was worth the splurge. Well done Intercontinental."
"Our second stay and wonderful, again! Amazing location, quiet, friendly staff, resturant & food trucks near. Grocery 1 mile and small grocery .5 mile. Great AC which is good for sleeping in this hot, humid climate. Great bathroom & shower with space for wet snorkel gear. Hotel restaurant not my favorite but other options near. "
"Ronnie and the staff were so gracious and friendly. We stayed here twice, and each bungalow/suite was spacious and unique. There’s amazing snorkeling at the end of the dock, and kayaks to use. The breakfast (extra charge) was wonderful and convenient before our day of travels. We will absolutely love to return here in the future!"
"I stayed in an overwater bungalow and it was amazing, the water was as clear as pool water and there were tons of tropical fish, rays and even turtles and reef sharks right outside my door! It’s beautiful to sit out there and watch the sun rise the hop in the ocean for a nice swim. Staff were super friendly. The crepe restaurant is outside right over the water and at night you can watch the reef sharks swim while you eat! Absolutely worth the stay"
"A wonderful resort with great amenities. My husband and I stayed in an overwater bungalow. It was quiet and relaxing, with beautiful views and so many fish to see while snorkeling. The sunrise and sunset at the beach were beautiful. There was a variety of different cuisines at the buffet, and we enjoyed the dance show at dinner. The Polynesian massage at the spa was one of the best massages I’ve ever had. Overall, our time at the resort was one of the highlights of our trip."
"We stayed at the lodge for one night on our way back to the United States. We had a wonderful time at the lodge. They picked us up and they also took us for a fee downtown in order to get dinner. The room was very clean, however small. The breakfast was incredible and plentiful. Our flight was not until later in the evening the following day and they were kind enough to allow us to sit in the lounge area so we wouldn’t have to wait at the airport all day. That was an incredibly nice gesture and we really appreciate it. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay near the airport. It is suitable for those who are in transit as it is not close to the downtown area and would need taxis so I would recommend it for travelers who are connecting to an international flight or heading into other parts of Tahiti and need to be near the airport."
