The first thing we must point out is the STAFF IS EXCELLENT. They work so hard. I hope they are paid well. This resort isn't easy to navigate. Its built inside a dry forest. It's very hilly. Thank goodness there are plenty of staff riding around with golf carts to take guest to and from the various buildings and beach. I was a little disappointed that I had to rely so much on the staff to get me around. I love to walk, but walking to the beach is quite a distance. You have to take a shuttle or take the convenient and fun boat that comes every 15 minutes from beach to main resort area. We didn't have time to get to the park or the Eco area, but I passed by while on the shuttle and observed the beauty of the area. The room design was a little different. We prefer more floor space. The closets were located in the center of the room. The bathroom was good, albeit I wish there were a traditional layout with a door. The shower was huge. Loved it. We had a beautiful ocean view, which balanced out not having a traditional room layout. The food at the restaurants was excellent. Get the cappuccino at the coffee shop and the Pastrami sandwiches. The beach restaurant was excellent. I highly recommend the Bruschetta. We would stay at the Andaz Resort again!

The property is beautiful and the staff was very friendly. Food options are very poor , more diversifications would be lovely

Amazing Views

Amazing hotel!! Loved the design, the hotel is nestled in the mountain with the most beautiful view of the bay. Service in excellent and food is great. This is one of the best hotels we've ever stayed. We had a great experience and highly recommend.

This was a bucket list trip for my husband and myself and lt exceeded our expectations! The food, staff, and resort were amazing. Now the room was top tier! It was expensive but worth every $. It set the bar high for our future vacations, since then we have taken 3 more vacations and we have loved everyone! I cant say enough about the Andaz and l recommend it every chance l get! 💯

Middle of nature, quite, good service, monkeys everywhere this is what made different, but family pool small. Restaurant no bad but no so good, bay so many rocks but safe to swimming.

Great resort with great staff. The only areas that need improvement are: 1. The dinner food isn't the best. 2. the pool chairs at the main pool area don't match and aren't as comfortable as the adult pool and beach club chairs.

We liked the fact the service at the pool was very efficient. We had Kevin a few days and we would order and he brought it quickly. He was terrific. Also loved Meso restaurant. Food and facility was fantastic.

Perfect stay on The Costa Rican coast

This resort was worth every penny. It is absolutely gorgeous. Service is excellent. Beautiful and lush during the rainy season but rains very little on the coast. We used the snorkeling equipment provided there. Booked a surf lesson, cooking class, monkey watching tour, and bioluminescence tour in outrigger canoes. The whole peninsula is very safe with gate guards at the entrance to the peninsula as well as the resort itself. Complimentary shuttles to the nature center, the beach club, and to the restaurants at the other resorts on The peninsula (we had two excellent dinners at the Andaz, one at the dive bar at the neighboring marina, and one at the Prieto beach club with stunning sunset views. My husband and I as well as our two teens all loved it. Would return here in a heartbeat.
