"Pros- the staff was excellent except house keeping. The pool was great, it stays open to 3am. There is a bar at the pool that also serves food. The food is good. This hotel is close to everything. You are steps away from the beach. You do not need to rent a car, you are surrounded by restaurants and shops. Cons - housekeeping. I was not impressed, they do the minimum. When you ask them to change the sheets, they start speaking Spanish. One day they did not even leave toilet paper or tissue. I had to go to the front desk and I spoke to Dylan. He had it sent up immediately. I stayed a week and I had to make several requests with housekeeping. That is the only thing this hotel needs to work on. I believe they are short staffed because when I would come back to the room at 3pm, the room still was not cleaned."

"We stay here at least twice a year. Sometimes on the club 10 floor, sometimes random king or double queen rooms. Everything is always maintained nicely but the only "gripe" is the shower doors never close all the way. We end up needed extra towels to keep the floor dry. That's literally the only thing I can think of to complain about, everything is top notch!"

"I would have given all 5 stars but I had trouble with the shuttle picking us up in the afternoon. We would be standing outside and they would ride right past us. Also one night i had something that looked similar to mouse droppings after coming back to the room on my bed. I can’t prove that it was that but it looked very similar. I had not eaten in the room or anything and it was for sure not there when i left."

"We are thankful that we were allowed to enter our room early. The room was generous in size and we enjoyed the space, We had loud neighbors our first evening and the staff took care of the problem quickly."
Margaritaville Beach Resort South Padre Island

"Loved the location! Some restaurants within walking distance and the beach access was perfect. You can also rent umbrellas/chairs/boogie boards at the resort, so you don’t need to bring your own. Nice resort with a decent sized pool and swim up bar. Delicious margaritas! We enjoyed Landshark grill, although the service is slower if you’re on the patio. Clean rooms serviced everyday. The cleaning crew would either come too early in the morning or too late in the afternoon, so that was a bit of an inconvenience, but we enjoyed getting clean towels every day. I wish our room had a kitchenette and more storage space for clothes, they have 1 dresser with 3 smalls drawers in their king sized room w partial ocean view. We stayed 8 days and the room was kind of small for the 2 of us. Overall enjoyed our stay here but will probably check out a different resort next time. We spent a decent amount of money on our room, I think you can get more from a different resort for the same price."
