"WE had to leave early to catch a boat, but it looked good. The lady at checkin was wonderul. This facility has no elevator and we had 4 heavy luggage. She switched our room from top floor to a bottom floor suite at no charge. Then wanted to carry bags She was VERY nice. Hotel was very clean and well kept. "

The chateau was magnificently maintained and in easy driving distance to the Normandy beaches and outstanding restaurants that were recommended by our hosts. "Nice Hotel. We stayed in the family room in July of 2025 where there is a door that separates the other bedroom, which was nice as we stayed with our 2 adult children. The rooms did not have AC, but they do have windows that open (no screens unfortunately) that brought in cool air. We paid for their breakfast which was pretty good. Only about a 15 minute car ride to the Juno Beach museum. They have a parking lot, but with only about 10 stalls. We had to park in the front which was fine. ...

"We liked the Holiday Inn Express Caen/Epron. It was new, very clean and the staff was exceptionally helpful. The only drawback is there isn’t anything within walking distance. It’s kind of in a business area so you can’t walk to a cafe or even a grocery store. We had a car and were comfortable driving everywhere so it wasn’t a problem but it could be if you’re expecting it to be in an area that is walkable. "

"Mycket trevlig värdinna som bjöd på en frukost där mycket var hemmagjort, till exempel olika sorters sylt och torkad frukt. En i resesällskapet var glutenintolerant och det var inga problem, utan värdinnan ordnade glutenfritt bröd från bageriet. Mycket härlig vistelse!"
