Beautiful place for a relaxing retreat
Absolutely beautiful place to stay and relax. Calm and quiet in the countryside. Service and food at the hotel is excellent. Highly recommended if you want to escape from the city noise and hustle.
Excellent place to relax for a couple of days, very quiet and hosts are super friendly! Very clean room and comfortable beds!
Hosts had arranged for a platter of Fruits de mer for one evening and this was just perfect.
We were looking for a property with five beds (so that my four children could each sleep in their own bed), a washing machine, and easy parking for our rental van during our stay in Normandy. This property checked those boxes very well. The owner was friendly and attentive when we rang his doorbell for service. The breakfasts were as advertised and worked nicely for our family, including baguettes, meats, cheeses, and jam. When I saw the place, I thought I would be taking cold showers, but we got the water to warm up nicely,
On the downside, we visited in early March during cold weather, and it took a couple of days for the master bedroom of the cottage to warm up. I'm guessing the cottage hadn't been in use before us. It would have been nice if the heat had been turned on a couple days before we got there. I forgot to duck one time and knocked my head on a low stone doorway. The washing machine was hard for me to figure out how to do quick cycles, but I finally figured it out. Of course, there was no drier, as advertised. Due to our high volume of our laundry, the temperature in the cottage, and the limited space on the heated drying rack in the bathroom, it was difficult to dry our laundry.
I'm glad I chose this quite place outside of the cities so that I didn't have to worry about traffic and parking. I would stay there again if I get to visit Normandy again. Our three days in Normandy were the best part of our 10 day trip to France.
This was a beautiful place to stay. Quiet, lovely buildigns, beautifully restored and decorated. Very friendly reception and the family room was spacious. Wish we could have stayed longer.
An incredible place to stay, set in a French manor house surrounded by pastures and wheatfields. The suites are modern, clean, and comfortable set within the rustic buildings. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, giving in depth recommendations to see the surrounding area. Breakfast was very good, and hosts will also prepare other meals throughout the day if you desire. Overall a great stay, and would travel to Normandy again just to stay here.
We were on a road for 9 hours and got to the property at 4pm, their check in was at 5pm and our room was not ready. After long ride all you want to do is to relax and not to wait another hours to check in. Of course-no refund. Good Business is built on returning customers. Would not come back and would not recommend.
Amazing, rooms decorated to a very high standard, very clean, got great nights sleep.
Swimming pool was perfect, the accommodation as a whole was very pretty, clean, peaceful and had everything you need. Platters available where reasonably priced and had a good selection. Breakfast perfect, good choice of options.
Hosts are friendly and were always on hand if you needed anything. Would definitely come back
We had a very nice stay. Our hosts were great, we felt very welcome and cared fore, and their concept is really good. Fantastic bedlinnen and comfortable beds as well as furniture. Great interior design. The only (minor) things I would like to point out as being a bit negtive is 1) that our rooms were very dark (dark blue) - a bit depressing in the long run with only one small window, as this is the only place you can have privacy, 2) the parking space was very narrow - could be a real struggle to get in and out of your car, 3) the place looks more spacious on the photos.
