"A very comfortable stay with a great room on level 6 providing a view of greater Portsmouth (views of Portchester Castle). Great amenities in the room. Good gym with plenty of equipment though pool / spa was not in order and being renovated. Recommended for those with a vehicle as parking is available and close to main roads M27 etc. "

"After a previous poor experience with the 'budget' brand, I was pleasantly surprised. Check in was super easy with the online advance option. Decor was modern and vibrant. Everything seemed clean. The room was ideal for what was required, just slightly on the small side. Similar with the shower/bathroom which was seriously snug! But overall, I was quite happy with everything. "

"Had a lovely stay at Whitecliff Bay Holiday Park. The comfort chalet was booked as just somewhere to get my head down while doing other activities on the island, as the price was so good! "Beautiful grounds, the lake enlightens the site, especially when lit of an evening. Loved my Caravan, Clean, modern & had a very comfortable bed. Plenty of room. "What an amazing find this hotel was. We booked at the last minute and were very lucky that the penthouse was available. It is a wonderful space if travelling with a family. Two separate bedrooms as well as a large living and dining area with a balcony overlooking the beach - incredible. The hotel also has an indoor swimming pool which you can book in 30 minute slots to have it all to yourself. We didn't have dinner in the restaurant but breakfast the next morning was great value for money...

"Very friendly restaurant staff. Reception team efficient and very helpful. Asked us about a ramp for my son's wheelchair anytime we came in and out of the hotel. Afternoon tea was an excellent experience. Since covid this is the 1st place that did housekeeping which really made us feel we were on a holiday. "

"Really enjoyed our stay at Ashbys. Steve and Mubi were warm, welcoming and helpful and the room and public spaces (lounge / games room, kitchen, bar area) were comfortable and well equipped. It was clear that a lot of thought has been given to making Ashbys a unique place to stay: welcoming, relaxing and fun. A great location too for the bars, seafront and Southsea attractions! Our bathroom window needed a blind - more for the neighbours than anything! - and the bedroom a second bedside table...
