The woman running the front desk was pleasant and changed my room for me because of the smell. Great location. In good shape (maintenance wise, paint, furniture condition, etc.). Bed was comfortable. I didn’t try the breakfast. Overall I’d stay here again. "

"Enjoyed our stay very much. Very convenient location to hwy 5. Tammarrak Beach, Carlsbad Village, and Oceanside, are just a couple of streets down. Room and motel grounds were very clean. No breakfast was served, or coffee makers in the room, but coffee was free in the lobby. I purchased groceries and saved a lot on food costs overall. Walmart is within 7 minutes and our room had a large refigerator and small microwave. Bring toiletries, our room only had bar soap and hairdryer. Overall great...

"There was a couple of cockroaches in the restroom. One being a pregnant one with the egg hanging off. Ran into a crevice in The floorboard. Room 269. There was also a couple of insects on the bed which were easy to spot because of the white sheets. "

"Motel 6 in San Diego was a really good value. It was less than half of the cost of the better hotels in the area. The room was acceptable and clean. But the common areas (hallways, trash cans, parking lot) are dirty. And the area attracts a lot of homeless people. It was good enough to stay in, but lacks a sense of comfort. I'm grateful for the low price."
