"Arrived and were met by helpful staff at reception, shown to our room which seemed okay but the bathroom wasn’t very clean with hairs in our bath. The pool was warm and clean but the loungers did not look inviting. Decided to use the beach for our two days. Breakfast had a limited choice and was acceptable although the first batch of cutlery we picked up were dirty which again put me off. "Great location, clean and comfortable room, friendly staff, nice toiletries and great selection of coffee and teas. Great food and drinks available onsite. Ideas for improvement- larger fridge, the fridge is tiny - other than the free water that is provided you can’t fit anything more in there. Robes would be nice as well as body lotion or hand cream in the bathroom."

"A lovely old grade 2 listed house. Excellent location for Poole Quay and harbour. Parking in visitor’s public car park just across the road. Overnight parking is very reasonable. David was a fabulous host with plenty of stories to tell and the house is full of interesting “stuff” that he has collected. Delicious breakfast cooked to order. Our room on the second floor was very small and hot, but the others are bigger. Best to ask David before you book. Would definitely stay again."

"Lovely hotel. No complaints! Location is good, be warned it is on a hill, parking is excellent and safe under the hotel. Reception and lobby was clean and spacious. Dining area was ample food for breakfast was really lovely. Waffles were exceptional 😋 Lots of food and drink variety plus really fresh also kept lovely and tidy. Bedroom we booked was standard double, and for 2 nights it was great. Quiet room no complaints. Shower was good... What is not to like about the Hampton by Hilton!"

"Huge bathroom. No towel rail by the basins every time wash hands had to drip water to a rail 5 feet away. And incredibly No Shower. Huge bath with side taps but no facility to wash and rinse hair. Come on Greene King its 2026 not 1826."

"No food available after a long trip and the sea view room on the first floor is a bit of a stretch from a standing position only. I did manage to catch a glimpse between the rooftops."
