"Great place! Kind staff. Very clean. New buildings. Close enough to what you need but far enough for peace. Very near a path to one of the best spots on the beach which is a short walk. Hot showers and cook AC if that is important to you. Be sure to try the pizza place right on site. The rooms are a nice mix of luxury and minimalism. If you visit San Augustinillo I definitely recommend giving it a try.

"This property was smack in the middle of the jungle with the most amazing views and passive environmental architecture. If you want a place that feels nice, comfortable, surrounded by the local community, and enjoy a hippie beach vibe, this hotel is for you. There’s lots of walking, but they can easily call cabs for you. The roads surrounding the property into town feel almost like a permanent Shakedown Street market at a Gratefu Dead show, but with the best tamales, mezcal, and ceviche of your life. Also, be aware there can be lots of little visitors in and around the rooms, but the staff came immediately and was happy to help. The view from the infinity pool is one of the must stunning things I’ve ever seen!"
