"The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast didn't change much each day but what was available was cooked well. The property is in need of attention as it looks tired and grubby in places. The location is reasonably good for exploring San Francisco. It was helpful being able to securely store our luggage until our flight which was long after check-out. A deposit is taken (despite no mini-bar etc.) and had to be chased to be released."

"Buffet breakfast was very good. Aside from pastries, fruit, and bagels, they had warm pancakes, sausages, eggs and bacon. They were open until 10:30, which is great for those who want to sleep in."

"The nice pictures of the property, along with the name, led me to think it is a pretty upscale place. The rooms don’t look like they have even been renovated or “dressed up.” I am used to showers with shampoo/conditioner/body way dispensers and this place had little squeeze tubes of them. The nice thing was the Angel Soft toilet paper!"

"Rooms were in poor shape, floors uneven, wallpaper coming off walls, paint chipped, not enough outlets, no microwave, pull outs uncomfortable, pillows uncomfortable, curtains had holes on them. Overall the property was in poor shape. On the plus, excellent location and staff were friendly. "

"Clean room, the fridge could use a thorough clean but other than that everything else was beyond expectations! Loved this hotel!"
