"The room was clean and comfortable. The outside however needed some attention. The balconies and pool areas need pressure washing. The chairs look terrible. I don't like sitting on those plastic chairs with black weathered scum on them. The beach is pretty far away from the hotel. Can't really enjoy the beach from the balcony."

"Checked in late around 9pm and the manager informed the clerk that she upgraded us to a king parlor. Extremely nice to do so but it messed up our bedding arrangements. There were 3 of us the first night with another coming the next night. No one wanted to share a bed with another person! So that’s why I had originally booked the queen suite with the bunk beds. She gave away our room but was able to accommodate us the first night with all separate beds. She went above our expectations and gave us a full 2 bedroom 2 bath full kitchen awesome suite the rest of our stay. I think this was the best room in the hotel. Also comped our breakfast for 4 the whole stay. She was truly sorry for the inconvenience of us having to move rooms but I don’t know any other hotel management that would have done this much to compensate. Minor inconvenience but huge impression of this hotel management. Thanks. Will return again just because of your hospitality."

"Room was very nice and clean. We had a balcony that faced the pool and beach. Food was offered in the restaurant, but we always ate out because there are excellent places to eat just across the street within walking distance. Hotel provides towels for pool and beach if needed. Umbrellas and chairs are on the beach that can be rented by the day or hour. We drove so we brought our own. The white quartz sand beach is amazing and you will burn easily. Have plenty of sunscreen. Outdoor pool was OK. There is an indoor pool also. Great fire pit with swings and games like corn hole, ping pong, and a few other games are around the pool. There is a nice tiki bar close to the pool. Lot of just couples and a lot of families. Something for everyone. We did Destin and Pensacola and the Holiday Inn Resort Pensacola was my favorite."
