Osborne Hotel

"Staff were great and worked hard to cover all areas - especially Stephen, Jason, Bella and Jay. Appeared to be under staffed sometimes. Hotel - Great location and lovely views. Room - was not so great. Our bed was uncomfortable. Pillows were very thin. There was no chest of drawers to store clothes. Room had some cobwebs above the wardrobe and door. The bathroom door had a poorly repaired hole in it and iron burn/ mark on the carpet. No lift access to our room. Pool - The swimming pool and terrace was very nice and well maintained. The tennis court and terraces were similarly well kept. Dining - Limited menu choice but the food was good."

The Trecarn Hotel

"We were in a more modern but still old part of the hotel. So it wasn't in absolutely top condition, but it was extremely affordable for us and very comfortable. Being older, it had very large windows (at least the room we were in, which was almost a corner room so had windows over more than one aspect). The hotel is very friendly and clean, and we enjoyed out stay. We noticed live entertainment each evening, but we had been active during the day and didn't sit in, but the acts sounded pretty good. Because there were coach tours during our stay, most evenings we had to park on the street. We never had any problem finding a park and the roads there are quiet. If you are needing to use a bus, there is a bus stop very close. This is the bus that takes you to Teignmouth and beyond, many all the way to Exeter. Overall we certainly will return if we are unable to use our normal Teignmouth accommodation."

"We had a fabulous stay at the Imperial Hotel. The seaview was amazing.The room cleaned daily.The staff are very friendly and helpful. Maybe could do with a lick of paint.....such a lovely hotel but looks tired.... Anyhow did effect our stay . Thank you"

"Great pools including 1 outdoors. Shame the sauna was out if service for our stay. Games room is great, with 4 bowling lanes. Our room was plenty big enough, basic. Striped carpet was a bit mental! Breakfast was good. I would visit again."

"Had a wonderful stay, hotel location great, staff very friendly and helpful, room clean, a good size and well equipped. These things can't be helped but the part of the spa was out of action (would have been good to know before hand) but it did not significantly disrupt our stay. Our room was not sea facing so there was some noise from delivery vehicles (essential supplies needed) in the mornings. Would stay again."
