"The kitchen was clean and well maintained for cooking. The room could be considered light a small apartment. Definitely great for a longer stay on the island. Everything was in order for my stay. The staff was attentive to my needs, the bbq’s were a nice option for cooking. The manager had a wealth of knowledge about the island, like delivery services, taxi services etc.Overall it was a wonderful experience for myself and my guest."

"Condition of the room was very disappointing and far below what was advertised. When we entered, the room had an odor. The overall condition of the room showed clear signs of neglect. The walls were chipped in multiple corners, and the carpet was lifting in areas, creating a noticeable tripping hazard. The electrical issues were especially frustrating. The bathroom outlet did not work at all, which forced me to get ready in the kitchen area. Even there, the outlets were loose had to physically hold my curling iron in place because the plug would not stay secure. The bathroom itself was in poor condition. The light panel was broken with visible rust, and there was additional rust buildup near the toilet, which gave the entire space an unclean and poorly maintained feel. Cleanliness throughout the room was also a concern. Behind the bed was very dusty and dirty, the blackout curtains had visible stains, and there were splatters on the walls that appeared to have been there for some time. While we did not report these issues during our stay since we were only there for one night, I did take photos to document the condition of the room. For the price charged, this was far below expectations and not reflective of the images shown on their own website and the ones on Expedia. (I always check both) I would not stay here again. I strongly recommend that the property address these maintenance, cleanliness, and safety concerns, as the current condition does not match ."

"This property is tucked away int community of Avalon. Close enough so that everything is within walking distance, yet far away enough to not be bothered by the late night partiers of the waterfront bars and venues. It is right next to VONS which makes snack and beer runs quick and easy. Just a friendly warning that most of the rooms require a flight of stairs or two to access. Other than being a little dated, the rooms are cozy and peaceful."
