"It was our first time visiting Fort Myers Beach. DiamondHead resort provided a great place to stay. Clean room, comfortable beds, great shower, overall a very nice place. Restaurants were great. The beach chairs and umbrella was a definite plus. Close enough to walk to Times Square area (but golf cart taxi service is also available at a reasonable rate). "Always the perfect beach vacation destination. We got every year. The rooms are set up like efficiencies so we can cook meals if we don’t wanna go to eat every day. There’s a laundry area that’s always handy. The pool is fantastic. Flippers has the best burgers. The bay is usually full of dolphins and sting rays, this summer we even saw manatees.
