"Only 5 minutes to Khao lak town, the resort is becoming a little bit dated, not very user friendly to elderly people as a lot of the stairs are unsafe thin and uneven especially on the bridges going over the pools. The onsite restaurant menu is average and the food similar most nights the restaurant was very quiet as people ate out elsewhere. We had a pool access room which was nice. Overall would we stay there again 50/50 on that."

"We haf a wonderful stay overall! The hotel and entire property are beautiful – stylish rooms, great pool, and a very welcoming atmosphere. Staff was very friendly. "The staff were absolutely incredible. The rooms were beautiful, right on the beach and great pool. Felt like luxury. Couldn’t recommend enough. The hotel is a short taxi or drive to the main town if you want to go to a bar, or shops but it was perfect being a little away for a real peaceful relaxing trip. "

"Staff members were thoroughly helpful and friendly. Accommodated where able. There were a number of occasions that felt as if there was shortage of staff at the main restaurant but that could've been during peak breakfast hours. Our kids loved the slide and the kids area. The pool was fun, clean and friendly. Parking was limited-an overflow open space adjacent to the property sort of made up for this. Pullman is a little further away from the township and that was what drew us to it. There were ample of low-key activities around the area. It felt good to be able to contribute a little to the local economy in a small town that still showed signs of recovery from the tsunami two decades ago."

"The Moracea Hotel is like no other in Khao lak,its set on a stunning beach with a beautiful collection of pools. The staff are the best ive ever known anywhere in the world as they ensure you are having a great experience and always have time for a chat .This hotel stands out amongst the rest ,There arent any negatives whatsoever and we will definately be back .Thankyou for making our stay so special Moracea"

"The Sands is a great resort for families and especially those with younger children. The pools are great and also there is a good playground area. We loved the rooms with their own pools,these were also great for young families. I'd highly recommend this resort. "
