"staff were very good. Room clean. A bit noisy on the first floor. Chris the beach attendant was fantastic!!!! The area where hotel is does not have anything around it. Frederiksted does not offer much. Better in Christiansted. Need a car at Sand Castle. Cafe next door is not the best and it is the only thing around. Food got old real fast."

"The staff was great. We felt like we were in a third world country. The online photos need to be updated because the place was old and somewhat not so clean. Our view was of old destroyed buildings and houses. There wasn’t any boutique or museums. The shopping was like walking through the ghetto as were the clothes the shops sold. The ocean view was spectacular as were the grounds across the street thats it! It was sketchy walking back from having dinner at one of 2 restaurants in the vicinity. There’s a red light district that you wouldn’t want to walk by. We cut our stay short and went to Christiansted and had a pleasant rest of our vacation. I feel sorry for the people on the cruise ships that dock there. There’s not much to do. "

"Loved the cottage setting, no high rise, no crowds, and our own beach with lounge chairs. A shared BBQ grill was very nice, allowed us to stay on the property to eat. A full kitchen was also a plus. Staff was very helpful and was quick to address any concerns we had. I would definately stay there again."

"Just what I needed to decompress from the hustle and bustle of life in main land America. Corina and Ryan's efforts to infuse history throughout the property was especially meaningful. It was a perfect mix of tranquility and modern amenities."
