"Our room on the second floor was incredibly noisy due to the food elevator bringing provisions from the kitchen located in the basement to the ground floor. This would start at 6;30 in the morning and would be heard every 5 to 10 minutes. I cannot state how loud it was preventing us from sleeping. This is a tremendous insult to the guests near rooms 101, 102, 103, etc. All they said was “sorry about that.” They must be fully aware of this problem, but they just could care less therefore I...

"Great hotel, clean and spacious room, and very friendly staff. Helpful front desk crew and easy to communicate with front desk in English. Short walk to beach and close distance to shops downtown and old town area. Easy access to bus stations (we took the bus to old town when we didn’t want to walk). Quiet neighborhood, and very safe. Great value for cost. Would stay here again, and would highly recommend it to other families."

"We had an enjoyable stay at Hotel Luxe for 2 nights … lovely hotel located just outside San Sebastián (SS) on the cliff tops. Food from the Bistro was excellent (the main restaurant closes on a Sunday and Monday) …. Perfect for trips into SS using the local bus (number 16 -2 Euros fare) and a taxi or bus back as parking is very difficult in SS. Hotel ideal as a base for exploring the delights of SS and the Basque region… highly recommended"
