We couldn’t be happier with our choice to stay at Villa Favorita. Our city-view room was incredibly spacious, had a beautiful balcony, and quickly became the perfect retreat after long days exploring Donostia. Waking up just steps from La Concha and ending our evenings back there after wandering the city made the whole experience feel effortless and special.
This was one of my husband’s and my favorite vacations we’ve ever taken, and Villa Favorita played a huge part in that. Being right on the beach meant morning coffee looking out toward the water and evening strolls along the promenade before heading into Parte Vieja for nightly pintxos hopping. Everything felt perfectly located.
One detail we especially loved was the list the hotel staff provided of recommended pintxo bars along with the signature dishes to try at each stop. It felt like having a local guide in your pocket and made exploring the incredible food scene even more fun.
But what truly sets Villa Favorita apart is the staff. Every interaction felt thoughtful, warm, and genuinely welcoming. There’s a level of care and attention to detail here that you rarely find, and it made the entire stay feel both luxurious and personal.
San Sebastián completely stole our hearts, and Villa Favorita will always be part of that memory. We’re already dreaming about our next trip back.
