What I would note is the bright light from the streetlight outside our villa shone straight onto my pillow which meant I couldn’t sleep on that side. "I honestly believe they undersell these rooms. On Expedia the room description does not fit what you really get. We got the two bedroom unit. And it’s described as being a one room off a main but it is actually a two bedroom apartment. With two bedrooms off a main room with two FULL bathrooms. The main room having a lounge and chairs and a dining table and full kitchen. With all the amenities from a rice cooker to a blender to cook top and even a brew coffee machine. "We had a great stay at The Laguna, it is a really wonderful hotel, and very tastefully decorated. The only criticisms we have would be constancy of service and quality between restaurants/bars. The Balé Bar was fantastic, and Lili was a true star of the hotel - that level should be applied across the whole hotel without question. I can be to blame, but I thought with this being small boutique exclusive villas it would not be an issue booking the spa. "We stayed as a big family group with children, 2,9,11. This resort was perfect for our stayed. Included breakfast was fantastic, great proximity to local shopping and onsite facilities were great. Pools for all ages and the high jumps for the pool were a highlight for the older children. Will definitely return. Staff incredibly helpful also."
