"The room was okay but no view.l at all. People at hotel were very friendly. The food in the restaurant was pretty decent. However I found the booking through hotels.com to be very unusual. The hotel insisted that I pay them direct half the booking cost before arrival. When I received the message to do this I was very concerned that it was some kind of a scam, but I checked as much as I could, took a chance and it wasn't. Usually I rely on hotels.com to cover all the payments so you know you're safe but for some reason the hotel chose to do things differently. When we left I got the final bill which had an extra $50 a night for a second person when the booking clearly said it was for two. They did fix this and we left. But the 50% of accommodation was not on the final invoice so I assumed somehow this would be charged back to hotels.com. Anyway I then had to arrange a second payment to settle this. Hopefully they can streamline this for others going forward. "

"Los Arcos Suites is in a great spot in the heart of Puerto Vallarta’s Romantic Zone, so it’s perfect if you want easy access to the beach clubs, restaurants, bars, and shops. Unfortunately, the room wasn’t very clean and didn’t meet basic standards. We did have to ask that the bathroom sink and shower be scrubbed. The staff was great at all times and super friendly. The suite does have a kitchen; however, we did not use it because it was also in need of deep cleaning. The floor also requires deep cleaning. While the suites were comfortable and quiet compared to the main property, we recommend that the rooms be cleaned to the same standard. I’d suggest this place for travelers on a budget or those who plan to be out most of the time, but if you care a lot about room cleanliness, you might want to consider other options."

"We did not get into our ocean view room until 2 days into our stay. Ocean view room was booked for our 30th anniversary 8 months on advance. Pool area and hotel are beautiful but you are paying for that at this location. "

"We booked a fully all inclusive trip. Upon arrival the hotel refused to honor the all inclusive.i showed them our confirmation number and itinerary from both Expedia and thier hotel . They just ignored both and flat out refused to help. Ww ask to speak to manager , who you could tell easily, had done this before. He wouldn't even look at our documents , he just kept saying no. Even with clear proof in our hands . He had obviously ran thos scam before many times . We called Expedia and they blamed the hotel and said there was nothing they could do . The hotel just laughed at us . Ive been traveling for 20 years and this is the first time anything like this has happened.vety disappointed with Expedia also , as I have been a client for 20 years . But 100% the Delfin hotel is running a scam, they had all there staff respones lines down to a science . Worst hotel if your going to Puerto Vallarta 🇵🇷"

"We just got back from a 4-night stay at Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta and had a really great experience overall. The setting is probably the standout feature—being tucked into a private cove makes a big difference. The beach felt more secluded than most places we’ve been, and the views with the mountains around the bay were beautiful. We spent most of our time by the pools, which were clean, well-maintained, and never felt overly crowded. There were plenty of loungers, and the swim-up bar was a nice touch for relaxing during the day. The food was underwhelming but what we expected for an all-inclusive. Not every meal was amazing, but there was enough variety that we always found something we enjoyed. Service was consistently friendly and attentive without feeling over the top. David who worked around the adult pool was amazing! Hector at the buffet did a great job checking in and keeping things running smoothly. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and we appreciated having a balcony to enjoy the view. The resort overall felt well-kept and easy to get around. Overall, this was exactly the kind of trip we were hoping for—easy, relaxing, and a great place to unwind for a few days. We’d definitely consider coming back."
