"Poor reception and racist treatment. Room housekeeping not done since morning when return to room at 3pm. Call reception , operator many times no answer. Decided to go downstairs to enquire there whilst was speaking to another staff another staff abruptly say housekeeping is still 6pm rudely. And after that she just turned and totally ignore any conversation. Totally rude and was all smile with another client totally ignoring. Overall service across been poor"

"Relaxing stay at Quinta da Bicuda, it's located in the quiet affluent suburbs of Cascais. Although we didn't have a car we got around by making lots of use of the bi-cycles provided to visitors, large undeveloped Guincho beach is about 20 mins cycle ride along mostly dedicated cycle tracks which was great and the town beaches are also easily cycled to along the coastal track. We also made regular use of the masses of Uber drivers that service the town making getting in and out for an evening...

"Beautiful rooms. Quiet. Pool was clean and chairs were comfortable. Food and drinks by the pool were excellent. Had a massage that was 10/10. Sauna and Turkish bath 10/10. Uber ride to get to town center but you can take bikes for free from the resort if you want to ride the coast. Gorgeous area. Would definitely come again. "

"Great hospitality…Luisa is an attentive hostess and makes you feel comfortable, and makes it clear that whatever you need to make your stay enjoyable to just ask. Everything about this stay was outstanding. Bed was very comfortable and place is very quiet. Suggest you get a car because its not a very walkable area close to a lot, but there is a grocery store within 10 minute walk and a couple of very good restaurants, however you can spend 3-4€ with BOLT or UBER and you’re at Cascais Train...

"The washroom was not really clean. We could not throw our toilet paper in the toilet due to the host rule. Also, the AC didn’t work and the bed pillows were so hard to lay on. However, this place is not far from Cascais center and the neighbourhood is quiet! It’s easy to access to the building, its a great place if you want to stay for a few days. "

"There was no one working at the hotel. Doors were locked and you had to have a cold to get in. Neither Expedia or the hotel gave me a cold. I did not stay because I couldn’t get in and had to go to another hotel. I will be filing a claim to be reimbursed, absolutely terrible experience, considering being in a foreign country where I did not speak the language plus I have poor visibility/poor vision. "

"Antonio and Maria were always prompt to answer any questions. Great recommendation on the local restaurant Lagarica...YUM! The property we stayed in was spacious and clean and the beds were sooo comfortable. The home is about a 10 min Uber from downtown, but the neighborhood is quiet and relaxing with a couple small stores to grab groceries if you just want to hang out and chill. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again in the future."

"This was, by far, one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had. The walkway was ancient, rundown, and felt downright unsafe. The rooms? Beyond outdated—borderline uninhabitable. To make matters worse, the lift was old, creaky, and felt incredibly unsafe. How this hotel ever received a rating of 8.0 is beyond comprehension. It’s shocking and unacceptable that Hotel.com would allow such a misleading rating to stand. I trusted your platform to guide me toward quality stays, but this was a complete disaster. You seriously let me down this time. Immediate action is needed—both for your customers and your credibility. I’m reconsidering ever using Hotel.com again after this debacle"
