"We were so surprised by what was hiding behind the entrance door to this stay. A non descript metal door opened onto the cutest gravel courtyard and beyond that a lovely vineyard. Staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. We decided last minute to join other guests for dinner and a wine pairing. My gluten free diet was accommodated and the food was amazing. The rooms and common areas are picturesque and should be visited by Arch Digest. Well appointed and furnished to relax the mind. The staff is top notch. Not too assertive but very attentive and respectful. The restaurant options have a nice variety from bar to Michelin. This is what you want. A kitchen that can provide delicious bites on the go and the more exquisite dishes...

"The surroundings are beautiful, all vineyards. Know that this is in a pretty isolated area and it requires driving on small two lane mountain roads with some hairpin turns to get here. We were practically the only guests here during our stay, and had a breakfast spread waiting for us each morning. We had the infinity pool to ourselves. The grounds are great. The room was kind of fancy looking, but romantic. (Note: glass walls on the bathroom.) Also note, you have to drive at least 15 minutes...

"Staff at the hotel were superb.. I read some of the comments about five star hotel in previous reviews while the hotel itself may not be a five-star the staff and the service is easily five-star… I laugh at some of the comments…. if you want little slippers and matching housecoat, look like a prince and princess, then go to Palace… the meals were suburban with the first class chef from Brazil… when I came to the restaurant bar you couldn’t want more for service and quality…. awesome place for...

"Quinta Nova is a beautiful Quinta in spectacular surroundings. It is very comfortable and the service is impeccable - probably the best welcome of any hotel I have ever stayed at. The restaurant was also excellent - with enough choice for 3 fabulous meals even though the menu didn’t change during our 3 night stay. The walking trail around the vineyards is superb and a real highlight of our stay. "

"Our stay at Quinta de La Rosa was absolutely perfect. First of all, the property is beautiful. The rooms are large and have everything you need, including complimentary craft beers. The restaurant was one of the best we had in Portugal with the best red wine I’ve had. Their complimentary breakfast was also amazing. We had to leave early before breakfast on our last day and they offered to give us take home breakfast which I’ve never experienced at any other hotel. 13/10 would definitely...
