Unfortunately, this condo was pretty disappointing, especially if you’re looking for a relaxing beach vacation.
When we arrived, there was a large puddle of water sitting on the stovetop because the range hood above it was rusting and leaking. There was also a noticeable layer of dust throughout the unit, but it was especially bad in the bedroom. Overall, the condo just did not feel as clean or well maintained as we expected.
The bathroom setup is also very strange. The toilet is basically jammed behind the washer and dryer, making the space feel extremely cramped and awkward to use.
One of the biggest disappointments was the balcony. Part of the reason we book beachfront is to sit outside and enjoy the sound of the ocean, but the air return/HVAC equipment is located on the balcony, and there is a snack shack directly below that plays loud country music. Between that and the loud music playing around the pool area, it was nearly impossible to sit outside and simply listen to the ocean and relax.
The location and beach access may work well for someone looking for a busier, more lively atmosphere, but if your idea of a beach vacation is sitting on the balcony, listening to the waves, and enjoying some peace and quiet, I would not recommend this property.
