Hotel Dekat Palmer Park Leisure Centre & Stadium

"The accessible twin room was perfect for travelling with my Mum who has limited mobility. It was the first (only?) room on the ground floor. It was spacious and good to have rails by the walk-in shower and toilet. Although my Mum uses a walking stick and not a wheelchair we could see it being perfect for someone who does. We liked the little table and chairs, The hotel is within a short walk from restaurants and shops. The staff on reception were friendly."

"Nice location however very soft mattress and unpleasant smell in the bathroom. Rooms in the clock tower are separate to rest of hotel. Staff offered no explanation about breakfast on arrival and we were not asked how our stay was on checkout. Below expectations, very average"

"Very good"

"Great hotel and friendly staff."

"The purple turtle pub outside our room made an incredible racket until all hours of the morning every night. As we used the location as a hub to drive from, it was very conveniently located, though the on site parking very tricky, given the requirement for a bus lane permit. Unfortunately costing us one fine before getting right. The hosts were lovely and the rooms well presented."

"Great location!"

"Receptionist was very nice and helpful. It was nice to be able to park onsite"

"Shower wasnt working. Walls very thin."

"Two beds provided, can hear the noise next door. It said it was ‘No Smoking’, but the staff could do nothing when the man next door kept smoking!"
