"The property was fabulous! We loved our stay and the breakfast was delicious with the homemade jams, desserts, cheeses, fresh juice, the yogourt, etc. The attention to detail was impeccable. Check-in was easy and delightful with Anna too. The only suggestion and very minor…..is to include a wine opener/ corkscrew in the room and availability for guests to fill their water bottles at a water station in the main area. "The property makes creative use of its small space in the historic area. We enjoyed our balcony view of the city from our studio. Fresh and new inside with a Roman wall in the back. Staff is wonderful and genuinely helpful. Breakfast is good too. But do not plan to drive or park there. The road is very narrow. We left our car at a nearby parking garage. Wonderful location in the walkable historic district near the river."

"Customer Service was great. Location is walking distance to almost everything. It is right next to Sao Bento train station. It's a newer structure so it has modern amenities. Highly recommended!"

"The property is amazing in its design of the room and common areas,, which espouses amazing old walls with modern materials. Unique! One of the three most beautiful hotels I have ever visited, but the service does not meet the same standard as the design. Part of the shower did not work for 2 days, they are stingy with toilet paper (you should bring your own!), the apartment was 55 steps up the stairs, etc. etc etc."
