"I didn't know what to expect coming into Sunrise Beach Motel since I had read both very positive reviews as well as some pretty scathing ones. But my experience was excellent. "The room had a terrible musty odor and had cobwebs and dead bugs on the ceiling and in the corners. The carpet needed to be vacuumed. The tile floor in the bathroom had dirty grout and big gaps of missing grout. The midges were able to get in the room between the patio doors. Luckily I had some duct tape in my car and I was able to tape around the door frame to help keep them out. The balcony and patio screen door were covered with dead bugs which made looking out at the lake disgusting....
