After returning back from a long day of sightseeing and hiking, I can to a room that was not clean. "The room is my biggest complaint it was decent the first night but the second night we ordered in had pizza once we were done we cleaned up set our boxes on the counter then ants appeared we were on the second floor even after taking out our trash they wouldn’t go away made me feel gross. restaurant was great staff was kind and helpful and apologetic when busy which was all 3 times we ate there breakfast was included in our stay with a small menu to choose from which was different and nice...

"The stove in the hotel's kitchen was broken so there was no hot food for both of our breakfasts. Also, no hot food for both of the manager's socials. In addition, at the second social, the beer keg was empty and the replacement keg was all foam and warm rendering it undrinkable. Therefore, no beer. Many unhappy guests. It seems it would have been appropriate to offer guests a rebate or some sort of compensation for these difficiencies. Also, our room carpet had two holes in the carpet. ...

"We paid nearly $600 for one night, including taxes and fees, and were very disappointed. The main photo on Expedia is misleading. It shows the cute gift shop at the front of the property, not the actual hotel, which is hidden behind it. The hotel itself is very old, run down, and looks nothing like the listing front photo. The carpet in our room had obvious stains, and the biggest issue was the bedding. The sheets, blankets, and covers all had visible yellow stains, making us uncomfortable...

"I really liked that this property wasn't busy and also enjoyed the simple room set up. What I didn't like was that the bathroom was dirty. There was a dried blood stain on a cabinet and dirt near the door corner by the tub. These two things looked like they could've been cleaned but was probably missed due to a rushed cleaning. The toilet handle was also broken and the bathroom door would not shut. You really do get what you pay for at this place."
