"Breakfast selection was horrible. Coffee was probably the worst I ever tasted. Wife had not seen her brother in 21years and when him and his wife stopped with us to grab something from our room, we were immediately contacted on the phone by the front desk. They said we were to leave immediately that they were not welcome on the property. We will never stay again and recommend no one else does. Very disrespectful and did not appreciate it at all!!!!"

"We had the Morrow room - which was lovely. However, I am only 5 foot tall and the mirror in the bathroom was hung for taller individuals. I could only see my eyes - yikes. I was however able to solve the problem with another mirror that was hung in the room that I took down and sat on the floor to put on my makeup. "Owners were very accommodating. They let my sister come get the key early to decorate the room for my wife’s bday. The staff was also accommodating. I don’t eat pork or beef so they made sure I had chicken sausage for breakfast. The room was very clean and we loved sitting on the balcony in the rocking chairs. "This definitely a different experience than your typical hotel--it's a weird old house with antique furniture and gothic turrets. Everything was clean and well maintained though, and the staff was quite friendly. Breakfast was adequate. Essentially it consisted of complimentary access to a well-stocked kitchen.
