"Very Aloha spot! It’s more of an apartment setting, we had a three bedroom spot but our own room, our own key to that room which was nice. Simple layout, refrigerator and dinning table. Across the street is the main check in area with all the fun activities, so you get more peaceful setting when you want to rest. Easy check in! "The hostel was comfortable. The building is old but overall kept fine and has its charm. I didn't need to use the TV I didn't see the remote but I didn't ask. --The temperature was comfortable, there was A/C, not sure how would be heated in case of cold weather (heater?), or it may have been centralized. The kitchen, wi-fi, and laundry room were available. Coffee for 3$ at the reception was good and some pastries were available. The staff was attentive and provided me with a lamp. In the queen...

"I am 74 years old and had to stay over in San Diego one night and had no idea my partner rented me a room at a hostel by mistake ;) The three people who serviced the desk area were excellent. The property was fine for twenty year olds but I was a fish out if water. Noisy as hell and I’m not a bunk bed guy and I’m not fond of sharing a “used” bathroom :)"
