"Besides the fact there were roaches in both villas they put us in, the bigger issue was the fact that two of the male workers let themselves in our locked villa while we were relaxing in the pool (3 women traveling alone) after we told them we were unavailable. This was very startling and disconcerting. When we discussed it with management, they couldn’t have cared less. "Quiet. Clean. Well staffed. Pools and gym first class. Uncrowded in off season. Lovely architectural aesthetics. Enjoyed complimentary Pilates, yoga sessions. Made regular use of free bikes to explore the surrounds."

"Beautiful location, rich breakfast, super nice staff. Bikes are available to tour around the lake and there is a shuttle bus to take you to a shopping center nearby. The only negative was the elephant feeding place near the hotel, which chained the baby elephants in order to make money from the visitors feeding them. I informed the hotel and hopefully they’ll take action to prevent this business as part of their social responsibility. Otherwise, all pleasant feelings!"
