"This was a very memorable place that I visited. It is in the rural area of japan, you can really feel the realness of the area. It's in gifu however it's definitely not a tourist trap area. The owners of the establishment reminded me of my grandmother. You are not getting a hotle with this stay more of a B&B, it definitely felt like I a was sleeping over a japanese grandma's house. They also gave grate advice on a nice local restaurant at the bottom of a locals Mt that you can hike after to see...

I sadly missed the breakfast that they offered to us as i was so tired and comfy in the bed i had trouble getting up. The room was beautiful with great amenities and drinks for you. Free breakfast modest by Japanese standards but very generous by U.S. standards. Daily maid service included. We did not try the spa baths, but the room included two sets of pajamas to wear to/from the baths. Very convenient to the local hospital where we visited a patient. Alert: Very firm beds.
