"It is a historic place. Everyone in Syracusa knows this hotel. There is wonderful breakfast. Rooms are unique and beautiful. We had two rooms that connected with a hallway. Loved the grand staircase. Easy to walk everywhere in Ortigia. "

"Really charming, old property, tastefully furnished, lovely, polite and helpful staff. Very good breakfast and good and reliable ideas for eating out. The only negative was the very expensive valet car parking at €30 per night."

"Unique room with a skylight and terrace. Located right near the water. We also parked in the paid lot right there- not cheap but worth it for the proximity to the hotel. Breakfast was delicious- I awoke to the smell of fresh baked goods. The highlight was the innkeeper- a friendly, funny gentleman and I enjoyed our conversations. "

"La habitación era en realidad un mini apartamento, con mucho espacio y una cama bastante cómoda;muy silenciosa de noche. El baño obsoleto y la limpieza general no ha estado a la altura de las expectativas. Necesitaría una renovación. Localización buenísima. "
