Wonderful old tower converted to a hotel and restaurant. The last few hundred feet are an adventure climbing up the narrowest of roads. Wonderful staff, good food spectacular location!

Très bel hôtel, beau décor, beau panorama

L'hôtel est vraiment charmant, belle maison en pierres, jolies boiseries et mobilier, de très beaux tableaux. La décoration est soignée. L'accueil est chaleureux. Les chambres sont jolies et confortables avec une bonne literie. Un seul bémol, il n'y a pas de garde-fou aux fenêtres, c'est dangereux, il faudrait les sécuriser.Les terrasses sont accueillantes au rez de chaussée, il y a un très beau panorama sur le village et les montagnes. Le restaurant est très lumineux, tables avec des nappes blanches et des serviettes brodées au nom de l'hôtel. Les repas sont délicieux. Le service est agréable. Nous avons rte ravis de notre séjour et vous recommandons cet hôtel.

Durch den Turm ist das Hotel außergewöhnlich und nett gemacht - aber es ist sehr hellhörig... wir konnten in unserem Zimmer im ersten Stock die Musik aus der Lobby hören und wenn über uns jemand gelaufen ist, haben wir jeden Schritt gehört.

The Charm of the Basque Region

This town, Onati was one of the highlights of our trip. If you like to stay in places where the tourists aren't, then this is the place for you. The Basque people are so friendly. We were fortunate to be there when the Basque Festival was and everyone was in traditional clothing. The reception people were great too and very helpful.

Interesting old building close to historic town centre. Easy parking, a warm welcome, good accommodation, good food, reasonable price. Have stayed here 3 times and would stay again.

The perfect place for a relaxing getaway

This was our favorite hotel in all of Spain! When we arrived we got a free upgrade to a much larger room. The room had an extremely comfortable bed and a fantastic view of Oñati. The property and the surrounding area are gorgeous so I'm sure all of the views are wonderful! The service here was fantastic. The concierge helped us arrange a tour for the Arrikrutz caves after we were unable to make a reservation online. We also ate in the restaurant on site and it was delicious! There are a couple tourist activities nearby but this is a beautiful place to just relax and read a book. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the Basque country, it is definitely worth the short drive from Bilbao!
